Next 18 June at ISCTE, the University Institute of Lisbon will be held ‘Challenges and opportunities of Industrial Tourism in Portugal’, a public workshop dedicated to the presentation of success experiences and case studies in the field of industrial tourism in Portugal, with the aim of stimulating a debate for a factual discussion on the contemporary and future challenges as well as the next new opportunities that the sector could offer the territory in terms of economic development, support to innovation and promotion of social growth and cultural offer.
Coordinated by ISCTE, the University Institute of Lisbon, partner of the SMITour project in Portugal, the event will be attended by local professionals and experts in the sector and representatives of the entire project consortium called to illustrate and comment on the first results of the Country Survey that the project is implementing in each partner country with the aim of analyzing best practices, data, indicators and information relating to the situation of industrial tourism and the best good practices existing at a local level.
