As part of the SMITour project activities defining challenges and opportunities of Industrial Tourism in Greece, Hellenic Clothing Industry Association organizes a cycle of two online focus groups (February 13 and 17, 2025), to discuss the development of industrial tourism in Greece. The webinars aim to share experiences, identify opportunities and explore strategies for leveraging cultural heritage, smart technologies, and collaborations. Topics will include the evolution of industrial tourism, challenges faced by SMEs, growth opportunities, the role of modern technologies, and marketing strategies. The event invites representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, industrial site and museum managers, and tourism bodies to exchange ideas and shape the future of industrial tourism in Greece, with presentations from the Lavrio Technology Park and the Soufli Silk Museum.
